Sullivan History

Sullivan Builders Inc. was established as Peter Sullivan Builders Inc. in 1977 and shortened to Sullivan Builders Inc. in 2005. The change in the name reflects the slow diversification and growth this family business has exemplified for the last 30 years.  Started as primarily a residential mom and pop General Contractor; Sullivan Builders now consists of Mom (Lynn), Pop (Peter) and Sons (Matthew and Glen); with strong decades long success in both residential and commercial General Contracting.  Sullivan Builders excels in building everything from small residential remodels and tenant build outs to whole house construction and full service ground up commercial construction. We can make your plans a reality or we can provide design build services. Construction Service is our family’s profession.

We believe that what made us successful at the beginning is what makes us successful now: providing construction services in a friendly, honest, and cost efficient manner. Sullivan Builders’ completed work and satisfied customers are our resume. At Sullivan Builders we show up when we say we will show up, we do what we say we will do, for the price we say will do it for, and make every step of the process a safe, clean, honest reflection of our family business. That’s the way we have conducted business for 30 years. We measure our success by making the construction process, either in your home, or for your business, as timely, cost efficient, and as painless as humanely possible. We are confident it will make all the difference in the world.

Our customers include numerous Upper Arlington, Bexley, New Albany, Powell and Grandview residents, Graeters Ice Cream, Subway restaurants, Easton Town center, The Greene Towne Center, Cup O Joe, GFS chemical, Catholic Diocese of Columbus, and The Krema Nut Company. We have also fostered long-standing relationships with the area’s top architects and designers that have given us a versatile resource depth unique in our field. Our list of Architects includes Jim Calhoun, John Eberts, Al Unetic, Phil Davis, Don Schofield, R.A. Long Design, M2 Design, Ron Gajok,  and Meacham & Apel.
